A Foreword from Nick Jefferies
It is a pleasure to be asked to write the foreword to the "Legends of the TT" sticker album. I can clearly remember hunting round the paddock for Autographs of my childhood heroes, Bob McIntyre, Geoff Duke, John Surtees, Mike Hailwood, Luigi Taveri, Alan Shepherd, Phil Read, John Hartle, to name but a few, I could go on and on!
I welcome the contributions this album is making to charities, notably the David Jefferies Memorial Fund, and the ACU Benevolent Fund, please remember the contribution you are making when you buy one.
I am proud of the association the Jefferies family have with the TT Races, my father Allan finished runner up to the legendary Geoff Duke in the 1949 Clubman’s Senior TT, my brother Tony was victorious three times in the early 70s, my Nephew David’s record of hat tricks may never be repeated, and, well, I have made a small contribution too.
I pay tribute to everyone, marshals, medical services, volunteers, officials, riders, and last but not least you the spectators in making the TT Races the Premier Motorcycle event that it is today.
Thanks to Simon Brown for all the hard work in bringing this album to reality, I hope it gives you a lasting memory of this fabulous and unique spectacle.
Back Collector Issues
Extreme Road Racing presents the first ever made Sticker and Autograph Album of the famous Isle of Man TT races 2013. This album contains 28 stickers that are included with the album when purchasing it. 24 of the stickers are pictures of the top 24 solo bike riders that you stick in the album yourself and the other 4 stickers are of the top 4 sidecars. This album also includes write ups from Olie Linsdell, Gary Carswell, Dave Molyneux, David Cretney and a special write up about the legendery 'JEFFERIES' family.
Once all stickers are in place there is then an autograph column under every sticker for you to then try and complete the album. At the very back of the album there is also a couple of pages where you can make your own personal collection, i.e. if your favourite biker etc. was not mentioned in this album you can then email and request what stickers you would like for a very small fee.
Please remember if purchasing one of these albums you are also contributing to David Jefferies Memorial Fund and the ACU Benevolent Fund. As every album that is sold they receive a percentage towards their charities. Many thanks for reading this and if so purchasing one.
